We want to recruit an experienced Transport Controller to join our team based near Chelmsford.

With a fleet of over 60 vehicles and more than 5,000 portable toilets across multiple depots, the role involves working in our Service Operations group, planning transport routes and allocating toilet services, deliveries and collections to our Service teams using our planning software tools.

As one of a team of Transport Controllers, you will report to the Service Manager. You will manage the transport activities of service drivers, controlling their activity each day to maintain the highest levels of customer service. This will involve working with our sales and customer service teams, as well as depot managers, to resolve issues as they arise and ensure completion of work in accordance with company policy.

About You

  • Minimum 1 year experience in similar role/environment.
  • Transport and logistics sector experience preferable.
  • Must be IT literate and able to use tools such as Word, Excel etc.
  • Good administrative competence essential.
  • An adaptable customer-oriented attitude is required.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced-environment, and to prioritise tasks as needed.
  • Can work confidently using own initiative, with a flexible, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Please note: Due to the location of our offices, your own transport is necessary for this role.

On Offer

  • Up to Β£28,500.00 p.a. depending on experience.
  • 20 days per annum holiday, plus bank holidays.
  • 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
  • Workplace Pension Scheme (NEST) after a three-month employment.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Chelmsford based hire and sales team, we welcome applications from anyone looking for an opportunity to join and progress with a growing company and work within a friendly and fun team in the hire industry.

The successful persons duties include.

  • Taking inbound phone inquiries from prospective and existing customers
  • Liaising with customers via phone, email and various messaging systems
  • Following up on leads - converting, closing, inputting, and processing hire and sales orders via our CRM system and hire management system
  • Performing to team and individual hire & sales targets

Hire desk, office and sales experience is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to use own initiative, be organised, efficient and able to multitask.

Due to our office location in Great Baddow your own transport is essential as we are 2 miles from public transport.

We are recruiting for a Assistant Credit Controller to join our friendly team based near Chelmsford. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build on their credit control skills in a busy hands-on environment.

As one of our credit controllers you will be reporting directly to the Finance Team Lead and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

. Work with credit control colleagues to collect payment of outstanding balances.

. Make Phone calls/send emails to obtain outstanding balances.

. Payment and Refund Processing.

. Monthly invoice sending

. General accounts & administration duties using Sage 200, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

This role would suit someone who is just starting their career in Accounts and has experience of dealing with customers on the phone, but just as important is someone proactive/hardworking and who can become a valuable member of our friendly team. We are located out of town, so your own transport is essential.

Full Time: Hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
